  • How did you decide to get into your line of work?

    It was a natural progression in 2010 when owning and operating our Electrical Contracting Business, the Solar Industry was new to QLD and we were always passionate about renewable energy and the 'green' factor of Solar given the Electricity pricing to consumers is always going to increase

  • Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

    We have many, but generally we find a lot of customers are somewhat (and rightly so) confused about the solar industry with many competitors advertising campaigns etc, so we take great delight in spending time with our customers and educating them on Solar and how it will specifically assist them

  • What do you like most about your job?

    We take great delight in hearing from customers (post installation) about their latest Electricity Bill, we have fabulous stories of home owners quarterly bills going from $ 900 to $94.00 per Quarter! $600 to $34.00 per quarter... this is what we love!

  • What questions should a customer ask solar installer to ensure hiring a service professional?

    Ideally homeowners should only deal with CEC Approved Solar Retailers, this will mean, customers can have confidence when buying solar by choosing a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer.  Customers should ask to see current licences and accreditation's (or search and confirm on line), be able to speak to previous customers, view a PV Solar installation for themselves, ask if the installer has had to return to any site to repair any defects to previous installations...

  • What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

    HOW WILL SOLAR AFFECT MY ELECTRICITY BILL?: Our detailed quotations will answer this question in detail and site specific to your property's solar installation and your current electricity consumption

  • What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

    We have been providing service to the Noosa Shire since the 1990's with our business (Laguna Electrical Services, sold in 2012). Our in-house Solar expert is highly regarded in the industry and we are passionate about the Solar Industry and service levels

  • Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

    Absolutely, we hold current and relevant insurances we also have ten (10) year workmanship warranty guarantees complete with a minimum of Ten (10) year warranties (some products have 25 year warranties) for most parts installed (refer to your itemised quotation for specific details)

  • What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

    - Home address and contact information - Number of people who reside in the property - Average kilowatt (kW) power consumption per day - Current Electricity bill amount paid per quarter - Roof type: i.e.; Tin or Tile (or other) - Any roof shading issues

  • How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

    1. Turning off unrequired power within the home 2. Using ceiling fans for cooling, additional clothing for winter instead of Air-Conditioning 3. Only using appliances when a full load is required ie. dishwasher, clothes washing

  • Are there any special offers you would like to offer to customers?

    We don't actually offer specials or promotions, instead we offer consistly fair market pricing, complete with consistent quality workmanship so we can always exceed our customers expectations. 

  • What makes your pricing competitive?

    Our valued and nurtured long term relationships with our Suppliers ensures our pricing is kept competitive. Our in-house services means we are designing and installing the system, with no process outsourced, and therefore avoid attracting additional fees.

  • How do you normally charge for your service?

    We require a 25% deposit at time of quote acceptance, and final payment at the completion of the installation OR if finance is approved, this is sufficient in lieu of a deposit.

  • Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

    Specialise in PV Solar and PV Solar Battery Storage as we have an in-house Inspector, who has been inspecting installations since 2010 for Home Owners, Commercial Customer and Government Associations.  We also specialise in Customer service and pride ourselves on leaving peoples homes in the same or better (tidier) condition.

  • What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

    IN-HOUSE STAFF of over Ten (10) years, your PV Solar system is designed by us and installed by us, no process is outsourced.
